DescriptionThe KFR Shipping Team is looking for a motivated, hungry-to-learn individual to join the team.
This associate will be responsible for picking, packaging and staging customer orders.
This team member will work with other associates to provide an excellent customer experience for all customers.
In this role, a Shipping Team member will:
Support company values and mission through respect for others, safety, problem solving and continuous improvement.
Apply Lean Thinking to team work and processes (waste, flow, level work, etc.
)Pick and package products in a safe manner following SOPs and quality guidelines.
Research, quote, and schedule pick up and delivery through UPS/motor freight companiesActively participate in problem solving and continuous improvement within a team.
Support and help in other areas as the manufacturing schedule dictates.
Key CompetenciesDetail oriented, with the ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Ability to recognize problems and suggest countermeasures.
Ability to safely operate a forklift in a high traffic, fast paced manufacturing environment.
Must be comfortable using saws and other power tools.
Responsible self-starter with excellent time management skills.
Experience with iPod scanner and computer would be a plus.
RequirementsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
Forklift experience or willingness to obtain is requiredPreferred Education and ExperienceExperience with iPod scanner and computer would be a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
