What will I do in this role with Garden Spot?As a Program Assistant, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following
Responsibilities:
Assist in the activity programming and personal care of Adult Day Services clients Helps to directly conduct selected activities Communicates effectively with the Director of Adult Day Services regarding the Adult Day Services' programs, goals, objectives, problems, and activity successes Accompanies clients to and from other scheduled activities both within and outside the building Helps to orient new clients to the Adult Day Services program, its activity schedule , and meal and snack times Assists in personal care of clients which may include:
toileting, bathing, dressing, daily living tasks, and transfer/ambulation What do I need as a Med Tech with Garden Spot? High School Diploma or GED 1 or more years of related experience in working with individuals in health care or social service settings Must have the ability and desire to work with older persons with cognitive impairments Must treat clients with kindness and respect at all times Must complete a First Aid Course and become CPR certified after hire if not already certified How is Garden Spot unique? The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
