Project Manager

Apex Life Sciences has an immediate Project Management opening with a leading Food & Beverage client in the Lancaster area!?



POSITION SUMMARY


Primary responsibility is the management of projects and process. This position focuses on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, etc. and spends significant time on project management responsibilities and improvements to the program. Lead or assist in the planning, implementation and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies. Plans and coordinates the project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks.? Supports the project staff by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, etc.? Takes meeting minutes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up as needed.? Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports.? Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.? Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.? Assists in the development of presentations.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead advancement (systems and/or process) of portfolio/project management,?Investigate/Evaluate, purchase, implement, develop/execute training, and own the project management program/portfolio success.

  • Develop and report project portfolio performance on agreed upon frequency: On time, in budget, and correct quality, and customer satisfaction, and lesson learned.

  • Ability to construct, execute, and deliver projects through timeline and risk mitigation for internal and external customer?s projects.

  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, work cross functionally to resolve competing demands, changing priorities, and constraints.?

  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.

  • Responsibility for assembling the project staff for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects.

  • Lead planning and/or implementation of projects; may participate in the design and/or testing phases.?

  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.

  • Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements; interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery; advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management; work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

  • Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology; present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.

  • Lead aspects of organizational change.? Identifies opportunities for business process improvements within project scope.

  • Travel required up to 25%.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Manage projects as needed

  • Manage and control documents, such as form templates, meeting minutes, reports, plans and schedules

  • Prepare monthly key performance indicator reports and status reports

  • Internal and customer document management

  • General PMO administration tasks

  • Other tasks as assigned by Director of Quality & Regulatory



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor?s degree in related field is preferred.?

  • Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects.

  • Outstanding grasp of information technology concepts and processes.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for effective leadership of staff.?

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
